The Dorchester Legacy

A work of interactive fiction, written and developed by Simon George and Alex Lyons (2023) as part of Global Game Jam 2023 / Southampton Game Jam 2023.

A wide, imposing doorway stands in front of you; a sturdy, wooden piece that is beautifully crafted with intricate carving and detail. All around you, a smoky haze obstructs your passage in all other directions, although the distant sound of laughter and music can be heard from beyond.
You take a deep breath, inhaling the mingling scents of a busy, lived-in house and realise that this is not just any dream. You have awoken in a dream world, where anything is possible and anything can happen.
With a sense of excitement and wonder, you set out to explore this mysterious place and discover what secrets it holds.
